That was handy, cheers. They do the 2 into 1 exhaust. I was wondering if there was anywhere that would do 2 into 2? Maybe someone that makes custom stuff?

The original VT500 has a 2 - 2 exhaust. You'll be pushed to find one though, almost every one I've seen has a Motad 2 - 1 replacement.

You just missed one on eBay last week. I keep my eye on the NTV stuff selling and there seems to be a silencer on there at least once a month. I dont think I'd class many of them as 'race' cans though.

Cheers, Alfie

Have a look on David Silvers, they are the UK distributer for BSM Exhausts, and I am pretty sure they do one for the NTV, might be 2-1 though.

Yeah, I think 'race' can was the wrong word Laughing Just looking for something which might sound a little tastier.

I think the 650 Bros is the same. Wemoto.com have one I was looking at. Bit pricey though.

The passenger foot rests have a different mounting on the Bros, so I guess the mounting point for the exhaust is going to be different too.

The header pipes on a BROS are shorter than the ones on an NTV600/650. You can fit the NTV ones to a BROS if you cut an inch off the silencer end on the headers.

The silencer on an NTV600 is different to the one on a 650 and they are not interchangable as if you fit the 650 one to a 600 you can't get the rear wheel off with it in place.

There is a mount for the silencer on the side of the collector box (as you sit on the bike its by your left foot) this has different orientations between the NTV and the BROS so no they are not interchangeable.

The laser exhast that True Blue has shown is actually for an NTV but is often sold as a BROS fitment. Unless the design has been changed it doesn't quite fit as the headers are to short and iirc you need to fabricate a hanger mount.
