hi all

just replaced the oil in my rg 250 i was short on cash so i just put normal gear oil in now makin afair bit of noise when at idle Is synthetic better and will it get rid of the noise
any info would be great

This is in the gearbox and clutch? If you've put an EP 80/90 sort of gear oil in (what I would call 'normal' gear oil) then I'd suspect you'll have trouble with the clutch sticking.

What does the manual say you should use?

I use silkolene light gear oil in all my 2 stroke gearbox's
