Hi
i have just fitted an alarm/imobiliser to my scooter ( malaguti firefox ) there are 2 problems tho one it dosent cut out i was thinking maybe i set the engine kill wrong ( black and white wire ) also the electric start from remote control dosent work unless you have key in ignition turned on is there anyway around this cheers.

what make alarm is it
ie:cyclone krypton etc
easy spotted a there should be
red
2 x black
2x yellow
pink
grey
blue
brown.
if so ill help you out

I've had a prob with the imobaliser not working on a cheap alarm.

Seperate the two wires and the bike is stopped, but connected to the alarm and turn the alarm on and you still have power.


The remote start probably either isn't connected properly (there will probably be a 'start relay' which only activates when several conditions are met, you probably want it on the 'out' end of this.
Alternatively, you may not have power connected to the rest of the bike, which is usually required - there should be a wire which you can take from something on your fuse box which goes live when you turn the ignition.
