Although they are home made items, It comes across that way a little too much for my liking. I'm sure you could get £40+ buy it nows on each one if it were presented a little more preofessionally.

Are you using headless bolts for fixings?
or even hardened ? if not then no matter how good the anchor is its a bit of a waste.

HI sorry for the delay in replying the anchor is made of ST52 grade steel which is structural steel the pins holding the anchor down are 8.8k bolts with countersunk heads

i have been looking for some ball bearings to go in the heads but have drawn a blank so far but am still looking and if found i will place them in the kit also will come with allen key for the bolts

I have bought 3 from scooby doo and they are much better quality than other ones for the same price.

I bought 2 oxford ground anchors for £10 each and they wont take a big chain and arent as sturdy.

He is gonna send me some ball bearings to hammer into the bolts when he gets them.

When I install them, the weak point will be whatever i install the anchor to, not the anchor.

you could do it, but might get in trouble.
ask the owners permission
if you are thinking of putting a hole in a pavement or road, the council might not notice but they wdnt give permission.

Use counter sunk allen bolts and run a drill bit around the head so it fooks up the key hole this will make it impossable to get an allen key in there.

I know someone that makes groundanchors. has just had them approved SoldSecure, making them recognised by many insurers. He can also provide AlMax chains
