i get very annoyed when people try and have me off. shouting, on the horn, waving, etc....

sorry but if people try to hurt you or evcen kill you. Through negligence or on purpose, it angers me. so i react. would never hit anyone though unless i had to in defence.

chose "rude hand gestures" one. though i wouldnt swear etc... i would become obviously angry to any onlooker! Laughing

I tend to be somewhat aggressive on occasions, though will normally restrict myself to fist shaking and glaring...

The temptation to hunt someone down is usually pushed to the back of my mind in the knowledge that should I actually manage to get face to face with my prey they would probably just laugh at me.

haven't had road rage on a bike yet, but i had some clown think my lane was his lane, scraped my car, then pulled over and started abusing me to the full extent of his lungs.

it ended in tears, for him.

Was filtering in heavy traffic down a dual carriageway, traffic was pretty much stopped. Was approcahing a white transit on my left, which was weaving about a bit, so I kept my distance. As he came to a stop, I got almost alongside it, when he swerved into my path, blatantly on purpose. Got alongside the drivers window, which was open, and saw some little 17yr old, with his mates, pointing and laughing there tits off.

Stupidly (?) I did nothing, shook my head and rode off.... with hindsight, I wish i got off my bike and dragged him out the van!

Rude hand gestures from me Embarassed

More when i had my scooter restricted to 30mph, always getting cut up Rolling Eyes Woman overtook me on a bend once and had to cut back in sharply to avoid a oncoming car, just missing taking my front wheel out by inches Shocked As angry as i was, i couldnt give chase at 30mph in a 40mph limit zone Laughing

Since i got my CG ive become more chilled out, tend to get a bit more respect on the CG compared to the scooter Thumbs Up

Mainly rude hand gestures, although I did once punch out a drugged up tw@t when he ran at me after almost killing me and then jumping out of his Fiesta Rolling Eyes

I've also got out of my wife's car while she was driving on more than one occasion when someone has been having a go. One bloke went round a roundabout so he could follow us. I got the missus to pull over and stop so I could get out and the bloke booted it off down the road Rolling Eyes

Cheers

Extreme road rage, somebody ran into the back of me, and then proceeded to have a go at me! So he got a slap in the chops. Somebody driving up my arse, stopped at lights, he gets out, giving it the big time, so i do the same, he shat it and got back in his car, so i just kicked his right side wing.

I get really annoyed with dangerous drivers.

One time when I was on the scooter I nipped past someone in the town and he didnt like it so he followed me and once we got onto a straight he quickly overtook me within inches of touching me.

I saw what he was doing just in time for my to get my steel toe boot into the side panel Evil or Very Mad Middle Finger

i was half way around the roundabout and some 25-30 somthing arsehole pulls out and i wasn't stopping so he slammed on the breaks and fires on the horn. i gave him the good old middle finger and he came towards me . so i stopped the bike jumped off and ran towards him. he quite quickly gave the car some juice and he was well away.

another time i took a shortcut across the carpark and this guy seen me and sped up to get infront . but i was to far ahead and he almost clipped me so i stopped at the bank to get some cash and he started mouthin off in his car . i told him to fuck off and walked towards him and he gave some more mouth before driving off.

I tend to be fairly passive on the road, not going further than using the horn/revs most of the time, the 'finger' is reserved for special occasions.

I probably would be more aggressive if I didn't think there were much nastier people out there than me.

I am very calm both in the car and on the bike, and tend to stick to rolling my eyes and shaking my head. A toot on the horn is sometimes necessary though!

I tend to be quite a bit more offensive when im riding with my m8 who i regular ride with, as i know that he will have a bit of fun and give abuse to the offending driver aswell, the other night when we where going to the bassets macies, this twat in a 4x4 cut him up but time and stayed doing 45 in the fast lane of the duel carriageway bit just before bassets, si we both under took him and cut him up a treat and turned around on our bikes in front of him and started giving a block load of abuse to him, made me chuckle Twisted Evil
but whilst im on my own im still quite offensive in terms of the hand gestures and tapping on my lid at them, but not so much, they will all get the hand gestures regardless Rolling Eyes

I do enjoy revving hard. The other day I was about to cross a crossroad with my total right of way; I don't have to stop for anything. Except of course when a bloody stupid family starts inching across the road. After jamming on the brakes I just floored it with the clutch in, they soon scampered off. But other than that I'm pretty sedate, people make mistakes. As long as they're not actually endangering me they just tend to get a grumble from me.

I AM Mr White Van man!

If anyone dares get in my way, cuts me up, drives slower than I want to (regardless of the speed limit) etc, I call them all the names under the sun...with the windows closed!

If someone genuinely endangers me then they may well get the horn/lights/finger or a combination thereof.

I have been known to jump out of the van, but only if someone has got out and is coming over, theres nothing worse than a thug trapping you in the door and then battering you, I like to be out and with a bit of room to manoeuver if it looks likely to get 'lively'!

When I'm on the bike the worst that I'll do is shake my head as i blast past the muppets, there's far more important things to think about on the bike.

It's dangerous enough as it is without impairing your judgement/observation etc with futile raging, what do you actually achieve? All that the cagers are likely to think is " Another thug biker, they're all menaces to normal decent folk like me" Shocked

All I got to do now is learn how to put the mental attitude that I have on the bike in to my van piloting Mr. Green

Was it first offence? Reason I ask, is i've come close when a car pulled out on my nearly nocking me off, I had lights on, high viz vest , I went mad, kept on overtaking them and braking and then walking up to the car, then they kept speeding off. There were 3 of em in the car, but I didn't give a 4 x. Nowt happend, no punches or anything, but i'm sure if he'd of got out of the car, he'd have gone down.

I usually just use my horn and the "WTF" gesture (over-empthasised shrugging).

No point going after people, because if they ever see your bike parked up somewhere, they'll just take revenge Thumbs Down

I did chase someone who had my mate off though, some woman on her phone with a car full of kids literally forced him off the road. I went absolutley nuts, if it hadn't have been a woman I dread to think what I'd have got myself into...
