Had one yesterday, (an hour or so) totally unlike me, But its the best sleep ive had in ages Neutral Didnt want to do it incase i was up all night but i slept through the night fine too. Definetly not going to make a habit of it though.

Is anyone else prone to a lie down through the day? (Just out of interest Razz )

I do if I'm bored at work. I'll come down the server room as I know there is only one other person on site who can get in.

The noise of the servers helps me nod off!

Power naps are the way forward. I like to have a wee bit of a kip through the day or on the sofa when I get home form work. I try to keep it to under 45minutes otherwise you go into a deep sleep and wake up feeling like shite.

Had a job at a piggery once where there was a 90 minute lunch break. Bloody great, you could go to the shops, have your lunch then grab some Zs for half an hour up on top of the big sacks of seed barley (which are very comfy, like a giantbean bag).

I regularly take 1 hour naps from about 2 til 3, siesta style, makes me so much more fresh and believe or not, I get a better sleep at night.

when i was at uni i had a nap everyday. id get up at bout 0850, and generally was in class till 3 or so, so id head up to the union bar, have a pint and have a dooze on on of the benches, then id head to the library, do a bit of work and then head to the gym. then back to the flat for a carryout and onto a club.

without the nap in the middle of the day, id be fit for nothing. we are supposed to nap anyway, were naturally grazers (small meals often) and nappers. sleeping all night working allday and eating 3 big mealsa is not the way our bodies were designed.

Too often really, mostly because I don't sleep enough at night. Got to sleep about 3 last night, up at 7 today for a quick half hour of work (£20 Cool ) and when I got back, slept from 9 until 1. Embarassed Up again, got a haircut, picked my brother up, back home, worked on the car, took brother to work, got dinner, and now back here. Won't be able to get to sleep until 3 again, but I have to be up at 8 so it's going to be a bitch.

Might go for a swim; exercise tends to help me get to sleep better.

Had one this afternoon, love 'em.

Got home from work, had a bath and then fell asleep on the settee with the cat sleeping on my face. Feel like I'm gonna fall asleep now actually, been up since 5.15 this morning.
