I want a CBF250!!

I saw one today that had a very solid rack and top box so it will be
perfect for my needs. I do have my three bikes which one day will
wear out and I know one day I will end up on a CBF250. BUT I WANT
ONE NOW!!

I've also been looking at 2 Yamaha 125's which are quite nice bikes
but maybe too small for me but I would love to test ride them.

Anyone else "Got the Urge?"

Shame really - usually I can talk myself into buying stuff that I don't need Wink

The fact that I'm skint as well helps me resist Laughing

I've had both. The ZX6R is a lot better in my opinion. The engine is in a different league and the handling sharper.

The Honda is easy to ride and supremely stable through the bends, the Kawasaki is the same, but seems much quicker in a straight line and seems to attack bends better, with a slight sacrifice in stability. But I mean a very slight sacrifice. The Honda RR needs thrashing to get it moving, the Kawasaki doesn't.

I'd have the Kawasaki 99 times out of 100 Thumbs Up

I've got the urge for a simple 2 stroke 125 as a project, something you advance my mechanics on. But I'll probably be better off waiting until I've passed my test and gotten a bigger bike first. Sad

Yes I have "the urge"! Recently I've been wanting a CBR600f quite badly and will probably get one in the summer (when the prices have gone back up, damn me being skint at this time of year! Evil or Very Mad )

Very Tempting, I paid £2000 for my 51reg cb250 with the same mileage, I want a Black one so the company logo can be seen properly.

Two bikes have tempted me recently. My mates T140 Bonneville and an MZ apprentice bike. I have no more room in my lockup... must resist temptation...

I came SO close to buying the apprentice bike though. Want one.

Sadly for me my older CB250 has plenty of life left in it, I think that if I just ride it on bad weather days only and start using the newer CB250 I still will not need another bike for a year or two. Another reason for this urge is that I want a bike which will be in production for a while. When I bought my frist CB250 it was about 6 months away from becomming out of production.

So why not sell one of the bikes I hear you cry, well that's simple, I buy bikes and run them into the ground, when dead I take what useful parts possible and scrap the rest, this is the reason for owning two identical bikes. If I sold one of my CB250's I wouldn't have spare parts for the other when one of them packs up or gets damaged in a prang.
