Had anyone considered that these tactics could infact be very similar to some of the tactics America has used to try and change world politics and political opinions of populations of people?

At least when the Americans do it, it's usually a delightfully dumb ass mistake. But that's America, what does that have to do with UK riots or denmark newspapers?

12 cartoons. That's all it is. Is it really worth burning an embassy, and threatening and further alienating the entire population of several countries over? I believe that is the distinction... There is a Simpsons episode in which the French launch a nuke at springfield because of a racial slur dropped by mayor quimby, and that is the joke, that it was only one, tiny little event that caused it. Here we see it replayed for real, it's an ugly, ugly site.

Dumb Ass Mistake?

So that's why they armed Saddam? Or infiltrated many regiems to try and over throw them, or introduced anti-goverment feeling into the populace and armies of countries that looked like they would be supporting different philosophies to their own?

My point was - because one lot of people burned a building does not mean it represents the views of many.
However it has been fairly clear that some people want an Islam vs Western war. These people are doing very, very well at inciting hatred on both sides as people swallow the bait so easily.

I can just see the war now:

Scandinavia versus the middle east.

Saabs vs Migs.

Elite ski troopers vs Bedouin with scimitars.

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

Does that make what these people are doing any less wrong?

No, I quite agree.

But then not nearly as many people are suggesting that every US citizen is scum and that they should all be exterminated.

But then again the US doesn't get its civilians to do all its bombing and protests, it uses its armed forces (however wrong or right it may be) so you there fore blame the men who send in those soldiers and i,m sure millions have blamed bush and Blair.

But Muslims use its citizens to do its dirty work so called innocent people are sent in to die for the cause.

Not siding with any body by the way just picked up on a point.
