Is this a Core or Premium pack? You can identify these by the following:

Arrow Silver disc tray
Arrow Hard drive
Arrow Media remote

If you have these, it's a premium pack, might also say on the box (I have a premium, so I'm not sure but I think core is Green)

Put it on ebay, you will get more than that price if you wish as it is still in high demand.

Was the person that was telling you a prospective buyer?

Xbox 360 Premium (Which you can't get for rocking horse shit): £279
Extra Pad: £20 (Guess)
PGR3: £50

That's £349 already, add 50 for rarity (I've seen standard packs go for £600) and you have a fair price which no one should complain about.
