so today i took my new digital camera out and took some nice pictures of the snow.
I was going to post a couple, but they are huge. How do i make them smaller ?

A really easy way to get the pics resized is to highlight the files and right click on them. Now select send to mail recipient. It will ask if you want to make the pictures smaller, click yes. Now email them to yourself. Job done. Thumbs Up Very quick and it reduces them to quite a small file size.

Open them up in Photoshop then:

FILE>SAVE FOR WEB.

Then go to the 'IMAGE SIZE' tab & adjust, then when you're done just click save.

i will give it a try. they are 1.2mb, but i only need them to be about half that !

I use the image resizer from Microsoft to resize my images, you can resize to what ever you want by just right clicking.

You can also resize pictures to what ever size you want (in advanced options)

Also works if you want to make pictures bigger.
