Ill paypal you a tenner if you shout 'Fuck off you bearded twat' at noel edmons. Shame its not live!!

I actually like the show to be honest. I dont buy into the fact that the banker doesnt know whats in the boxes, if the banker even exists.

Some of the deals they offer sound very ropey indeed.

I also don't like the fact that Edmonds used to be a multi millionaire, and now he's sitting beside some granny thats on to win 2 grand and telling her 'its a lot of money to lose'.

Edmonds used to be a millionaire, really? Those Mr Blobby singles couldn't have made that much money surely! How did he become broke then?

Na, don't really watch the show: if I want a suspence and probability game I'll play yum yum or yuk with my mates'!

Haha brilliant!

Hope I get to open one of three boxes at the end of the show, lol.

Not sure, but wouldn't be suprised if ITV pulled the plug. Did you see the top gear winter olympics special when they ripped the piss out of Hammond for his TV show, it was great. Smile

I think edmonds has around £80mill.

I doubt he will have lost any, money leads to more money.

I didnt mean to speculate he might have lost his money but people are double quick to shoot you down in flames if you get something wrong, so I purposely avoided saying 'Edmonds is loaded' Laughing

I know he used to have a helicopter and all sorts of cars. Not sure where he accumulated such a huge amount of cash though.

Its on now, theres some bird on there that alright too - dont know her name though. Very Happy

Call me a bad un but i love it when it goes down to the wire with one big amount and one tiny amount....then they go for it and lose Laughing

It's a pretty lame show but very addictive.

I've been to see the show a couple of times in the audience, it's very good. Noel Edmonds is a very good bloke, very funny and witty off camera, getting on with everyone nicely and generally being a good bloke!

You realise that three are filmed a day, and they are filmed months in advance, don't you? Your episode won't go out until at least the end of April.

He's worth around £20mil at the moment, probably more now. We were following him back from the studios for a bit (happened to go the same way), he drives a very nice Aston Martin DB9.

He owns a LOT of business.

It's just come to light that currently the amounts in the boxes are based on a sequence, and it isn't hard to predict what amounts are in what boxes, after a couple have already been opened.

https://www.bothersbar.co.uk/DOND_EXPLAINED.doc

I should stress that the problem was fixed a while ago, and as of a couple of weeks ago, the boxes were filled 100% randomly. There are still a few shows left to air that use this sequence technique though.

Spoiler below:

Noone has won £250,000 up to the 4th april, although they came the closest in the show I watched, they had £75k and £250k left, said no deal, but it was £75k in her box, sadly.

Also noone else wins 1p until at least the 4th april

How do you get tickets to watch DOND? I heard it is filmed at Bristol, which is relatively close, i'd like to go watch.

Jon.

Cool, just trying the sequence thing and it seems to be working. If i worked it out right the £250000 is in box 13 and she has 15000 in her box 5.

There you are, it was £15,000 in her box.

Certain proof that it works, looking at your posting time!

I hate this programme.

He looked a twat in his own programmes before. But he seemed more like "the man whose show it was".

But in this programme he just looks desperate to be back on telly.

Its crap, with no skill. Balls of steel, maybe, to let it get to the very final line.

So its a game for gamblers, basically, which is a pointless exercise in my book. Mugs game and they all end up looking just greedy.

At least on Millionaire or Weakest Link you need a modicum of general knowledge as well as balls of steel, LOL.

My favourite "mindlessly inane gameshow" of the moment is Quizmania. Its so terrible its great. Thumbs Up

Something he's not.

He originally turned down deal or no deal when it was offered to him, but endemol begged and he watched some episodes from another country, and he decided to go for it.

If he were desperate to be on TV, he'd have done another tv show (he says that he used to get offers all the time) or big brother, I'm sure he's been asked for that hundreds of times.

He may not be, but he LOOKS like he is.

I suppose he was always good at looking like a genial plonker on the telly. This is no different really.

For some reason the programme just gets under my skin. Prolly cos I am forced to sit thru it cos every one of my girls loves it (and its even on on SATURDAYS! I can't even escape on weekends, LOL).

I've tried reading a book instead while they watch it, but usually end up sitting there addicted to making derisory comments about the whole show, LOL.

Ahem...

Me bloke wants to know how do they get to be ON the programme. Not just in the audience. Rolling Eyes Rolling Eyes

Apparently the ones in the row of boxes all stay on there for weeks and then get to have a go at the "top spot". Is this true? The bloody plonker wants to get himself on there, but it doesnt seem to say on the website/link anywhere how to get that far (if one is mad enough).

Bloody men. Bloody gamblers and chancers, LOL.

You're right, they all stay on the show for about 25 shows, then have their go at opening boxes, they film 3 a day for 2 weeks and then have a week off, so obviously it involves taking a couple of weeks off work. However, they're full for contestants for the current production run.

Whenever they need new people, they'll ask on the show for them.

Competition is VERY fierce, something like 0.1% of the people that apply end up on the show. For your reference, the number call was 09016 160104, but it has been removed as they have enough for the current run.

Good luck to him should he try in the future. Thumbs Up
