frames and swingarms are easily modified or designed compared to engines. when say you want to redesign the head for maore power it takes lots of people to build/test/manaufacture the new part to see if its better than the current one. if its not you have to investigate what your doing wrong and how to make it better and go through the whole process again. even when you do hit more power theres realiability issue. wheels and suspension is taken cared of by the other manufacturers. to make a frame/swingarm more flexible or stiff, can be a case adding bracing or cutting bits here or their.

The progress of the suzuki team will certainly be an interesting one over the next season and i wish Chris and John the best of luck. It will be nice to see the suzuki comptetive in normal conditions unlike at the soaking donnington.

It also means that MOTO GP and Rizla are now endorsing the consumption of cannibis! Laughing , which will draw more stoners into biking!

Sorry, but I disagree; Good luck to Hopkins and Vermulen, but the top grid runners are a couple of years ahead of the Suzuki; if not, why did Rossi head for the next best team - could he have done the same on the Proton?

He went to Yamaha because he liked the ethics and attitude of the team and because they had the money to be competitive. I seriously think that with Rossi, Burgess and enough money any team would be capable of winning races/titles.

He almost went to Ducatti but they were more focused on the bike than rider ability and Rossi's main aim was to show that the rider makes the difference.

It won't be long before the 800s are pushing as much horsepower as the litres. Whether it be through spinning at 20,000 RPM or even more intense tuning. You can only delay the inevitable.

Take dragsters, a few years ago they were putting out 6000 HP, now, with the same rules, capacity and fuel they are putting out about 8000 HP.
