Activating xp is not a problem, that is what i was trying to say.
But validating xp has been a problem for the last couple of weeks.

don't kow if anyone has mentioned this before, but if you click on tools within IE then manage add-ons, find the validation add-on then just disable it with the check box in the lower right corner. This then allows you update, it just bypasses the validation tool.

Since this post started i have now found a workaround for getting updates this way Wink
