Does look good that. Almost makes me wish I waited 6 months from getting my ZX6R. Normally Triumphs don't quite do it for me but I'd seriously consider that if I was going to buy a 600.

Did you put your order in for one? Razz

went and sat on the 675 last sunday, was impressed its smaller than my nc30, couldnt believe it and the frame is narrower than the engine WTF! literally you sit on the bike see the frame by the bottom of the tank and then see the engine head poking out either side of the bike.

I like the curvy/bulbous fairing on that bottom bike. That particular shade of yellow is also quite appealing.

The other bikes look exactly the same as all other supersports models on sale today, though.

I used to have a Sprint RS, in teh same colour. The belly pan rally sets it off

A very underrated bike IMO. I did commutes, track days, ride outs and tours on it. Nice engine and very easy to use. Suspension was a bit soft but that only showed up when you gave it some stick.

Thought I would revive this post.

Did anyone buy this months Ride mag???

They were raving on about the Triumph having 3 cylinders, plenty of mid range torque, a strong contender for the best 600 class bike blah blah blah.

So I thought I would send the editor an email pointing out that the small specification box on the very page listed it as an in line straight four!!! Confused

That was a few weeks ago now and still NO reply or thanks.... guess there still getting over there embarrassing c0ck up!!!! Embarassed

Very Happy

Took a test ride on a 675 on monday and loved it, the only other sports 600 i`ve ridden properly is the 2005 GSXR, and to me it feels MUCH better to ride than that. Love the sound of the engine (the dealers tester model had an arrow race exhaust fitted) and the induction sound is enough to make me spunk on my own face, multiple times.

Dunno how it`ll be on a track as i`ve never done a trackday, but on the road it feels excellent, the tyres are great as well they are actually slicks on the edges, with tread running down the middle, dont know how long they would last, probably about 3 miles thats something i`ll have to ask next time i go. All in all the bike just made me feel excited, no idea if its better than the R6, but for me i`d have the Triple anyday, so easy to ride. I`m also a fan of torque and on this bike, you could (if you wanted) slot it into 6th at 40mph and still destroy Chavs in their Saxo VTR's 'slammed' on 18's.

All of which is irrelevent because i dont have £7199 and if i did, i wouldn't buy brand new.
