Has anyone got one of the newest style micron paddock stands like the one below???

If so, could you do me a huge favour and take a few measurements??
It sounds like an odd request, but I put my bike on the paddock stand in my shed and theres not a lot of room. I got an old shape micron stand, but I want a new one. I'd prefer to stick with a micron coz I know the build quality is good, plus I have a load of fittings which should fit the new stand. I just want to be sure I can shut the shed door though!.

Only got the shed in october...bit early for a new one. My old micron stand is showing its age, its about 15 years old now so I thought i'd treat myself to a shiny purple one. Plus micron did a headstock stand which bolted to a rear stand. If I get a new rear then I can get the headstock adapter and use that with the old rear.

Cheers, That just what I needed to know. Not great news though, new stand is 4 inches longer that old one. Only got 2 inches to spare between door & end of old stand so looks like i'm stuck that one. Looks like i'll just have to give it a coat of paint.

Ahh unlucky mate!

At least it saves you from ordering one only to find it doesn't fit! Thumbs Up

Not really

I'd of said it's 24" 3/8's x 30" 11/16's

I've got the sizes written down in inches. I worked for nearly 20 years as a cnc miller making aircraft parts to within 2/1000's of an inch. I'm not going to start using metric now.
