Paintballing pointers.

Be resourceful; don't be scared to pick things up. I remember last time I went me and a friend got stuck and it would have been impossible to get out from our position so we picked up a door from something that was laying on the floor and ran with it as a shield and we made it back the other time was when we was in a truck bed which we had to defend our base from, we picked up all these water buts and put them at the end of it so we couldn't be shot from any angle practically.

I went to a Delta Force paintballing game with my mates, 14 of the most competetive, violent game loving guys ever, inc 2 police men, and we were brutal.

You will get a bit bruised but its nowhere near as bad as people say.

I got shot in the neck from about 5m away and i carried on running so you'll be fine.

Basicalyl you'll start off hanging back, taknig pot shots and being scared, then you'll get shot, and go "oh, right it doesn't hurt that much' and you'll start to play a bit more fun, and then you'll start getting into it and screaming tactics, talking about rolling cover, maknig rainbow 6 hand movements, and then about 3/4 of the way through the day you go "fark it, im going rambo style" and you my friend will have the time of your life.

You'll need about 600+ paintballs, and the smoke grenades are the best thing ever.

Thanks for the pointers here, they did com in usefull!

I got away with only minor bruises but i feel like I've been dragged down a cobbled street on my arse! My legs are not used to running or crawling.

We ran circles around the other team for the first two games but they came back strong until we won by just 2 points.

The highlight of my day has to be sniping a girl from about 30yards away, hitting her flat in the forehead as she was crawling between covers. the first bullet hit the ground in front of her, she half turned and and WACK! Her reaction was absolutely priceless!

I did get hit in the face twice myself I have to admit.
