Has anyone been looking into new ISP's for this ?
I'm with Pipex at the moment and I'm thinking of leaving. Their Max price is £34 a month, I'm looking for something under £30 with a decent usage, maybe 40 or 50 gb. I won't use that much but I'd rather have too much.
My exchange has now been set up and is to be switched on the 31st along with many more exchanges. So it's time to decide now.

I refuse to ever join an ISP that tries to limit my unlimited usage.

I'd do my best to find one that offers no limits but as i'm a staunch cable user I can't help with suggesting any suppliers.

Depending on your area there's some good companies atm .Bulldog ,Blueyonder would be of first choice for me .

Al tho I'm just out of the area .An there is recent news that NTL aer doing 100mb connection trials in ashford Kent dunno if there doing it anywhere else.

Im with pipex an i have nothing but trouble .Last night at 1am it decided it didnt wantto work thru me off an i couldn't get back on so gave up .

I hate what a lot of companies are doing atm .Unlimited access "With fair use" bull crap meaning we give you unlimited access altho use to much we just slow you down to a unbearable speed

Blueyonder have now been acquired by NTL.

I won't use anyone else for Broadband.

Plus this means NTL have now acquired Telewests infrastructure (Which is ADVANCED)... Meaning you'll get rocket speeds from them soon.

Toby you seem to know alot about net pcs etc .Just a question pls no sarcastic remarks .Have you heard anything on the 100mb connection NTL are providing to Ashford in Kent ?.

I found a site somewhere saying all about it an that its starting this month .I now cant find that site anywhere atall an its not mentioned on there website ?

I'm not sure, I know a few people that work there so I'll ask about.

Really wouldn't surprise me if they're starting to test 100mb though.

Oh Mr ecerready have you tried using PeerGuardian ?.

Stops all isps goverments an other people trying to find out what your doing ?.I use it an never had probs with downloading etc i also have pipex extream an get 150 KBps On 1Mb connection
