As is customary on BCF I'd thought I'd share a new 'un with you. Pretty crap pic I'm afraid but I've finally got a Guardian Angel...

Although the picture doesn't show it her wings are relatively symmetrical in size (it's just my arm that's wonky!). Had her done on Wednesday evening so the colours have yet to really settle down.

I used Prep H on my first Tat and to be honest it did the job. Can remember going into Boots in Newquay and embarassingly asking for a tube and was met with the response "New Tattoo?" to which I replied "Yeah" - In hindsight I wish I'd come back with... "Nah my piles are friggin' killing me today!" whilst itching my arse!

As this 'uns a little bigger than my previous one I'm using a tattoo based vitamin cream (as described by the flipster) along with some Aloe Fresh Vaseline Intensive Care - my arms as soft as a baby's arse at the moment Wink

The best thing i've found to use is baby oil....
It stops most of the scabbing and moisturises too!
I was warned not to use savalon as it has antibacterial agents which 'draws out' the inks!

Shocked What's a family crest? not heard of that before. Is it something appointent to posh familys who live in manors and hunt wild fowl on sundays and carried down? Very Happy

Thanks. I am getting another one soon, talked to my tattooist about it. basically from my left kneecap up the thigh, a knight fighting a dragon.

dunno if I have the mettle to handle the kneecap being inked though, might work around it a bit.

Me and hubby are going to the tattooist tomorrow to get our designs down on paper, my artistic talent doesn’t go beyond stick men Laughing Im having a design on my right side from half way up my side to half way down my thigh. I have a design in mind, I want 3 chinese symbols (protection, love and family) with roses on a vine entwined between them. Hubby has found a very nice dragon on the net (no, he’s not replacing me!) so will be taking that down and see what they can do. Im a tad concerned that going over my hip is going to be rather painful (got 4 others, one on my spine) so hopefully he can work around the really boney bit.
Will hopefully be getting it done on the 13th April. Smile
