Does that mean the A2 restriction is going to be upped to 47BHP?

i guess so, because 35 kW = 46.6bhp. Hardly seems worth having any restriction at all when its going to be that high.

High?

If you want an FZR250, then yeah it's high :s

no need for it to be honest, its not going to stop people crashing and it just makes it harder for teenagers to get into biking!

Read about this in MCN yesterday, what a load of shite Middle Finger
One question though, do you think police will get tougher on checking restrictions when this comes in? I.E., alot of people that should be 33bhp now aren't and half the rozzers don't seem to have a clue on what the law even is regarding age and restriction.
This really is bad news though. But at least the 17 year old chavs who get cars can still piss everyone off on the road in any car of any power they choose........
Isn't it just great being part of Europe

Ref. the new regulations?

I think my previous post from the Torygraph sums it up nicely. Basically, it was all passed, and comes into effect in 2012.

I've just received a letter from my local MP in reply to the email I sent him. In it, he states that he has written to the Minister for Transport (Ladyman) and asked for his comments on the issues raised, and that he will get back to me when he receives a reply.

I have to say, I'm mildly surprised to have squeezed a response out of them at all, let alone one that implies he's actually done something!
