Not sure if any of you know about this, this website is aimed at reducing the number of bikers killed and injured.

Get yourself a free keyring and 'Think Bike' car sticker on their website:

www.shinysideup.co.uk

I'm going to put my sticker in my car window, hopefully will do some good.

their slogan is 'It's a road not a racetrack.'

I know they are technically right, but it did make me wince.

Yes if everyone rode as they do on their test, there would be fewer accidents, but its striking a balance. Im not going to be taking bends at 120, but i may well mantain speed round blind bends where I cant see as far as my stopping distance and I may exceed the speed limit from time to time.

To me this is a big part of having a bike.

The bit about it that made me wince is that the slogan is underneath a picture of a bike on a racetrack... Rolling Eyes

The idea of everyone riding as they do on their tests is frightening.

All the best

I agree.

The only reason I know about it is because I saw a 'Think Bike' sticker in the back window of a police car in Nottingham. I thought it was a good idea and eventually tracked them down on the web.

Think I should get commission for all these referrals - they'll run out of stickers soon! Razz

Good find; will put the sticker in the car's back window. Anything that raises awareness for other motorists is good Thumbs Up
