 |
|
Has anyone got one?
Was wondering if theres anything like a universal one at all? or something equateing to one...
As it is, finding it extreemly rare the throttle is geting opened anywhere near fully, in fact its very difficult to open it fully, which is makeing the bike slower than it could be...
What sort of money would i be looking at? ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

ace, how much are they?
What would a standard throttle tend to be? it seems like mine needs turning more or less 270º arround to get to full opening
Not wanting something too serveer, just something that don't need me to dislocate my arm to get it fully open ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Thanks for them, very much appreciated
Will defenately be looking at some of the ebay ones, at worst can allways relist them...
1/4 turn might be a bit much ithink bars are standard size, so if the cable goesinto place ok (thenipple!) shold work i think ____________________ >RidingSkills<->Tech Tips<->MyBikes< |

Can't find the details, but there's a standard one that racers use which is a tad under £40 and comes with inserts to adjust it as appropriate I think.
It is only a single cable design as you generally want to take off the return cable in racing as it helps stop skipping from engine braking.
I've got one on one of my SVs and it works well, looking to get one for the other one.

Don't seem to list on their site, but give him a call if you're interested - usually pretty helpful.
1/4 turn isn't actually too bad; I have about that on my seriously downgeared and tuned ZX9 and It's still controllable.
My minimoto has under an 1/8th turn and has half decent power coming out of tight corners, but can still use it accurately. |
