hving some right problems with my rxs 100 (as some awesome people may know who helped me out before) now it wont go off the kick start, i have to bump it and it bumps straight away but, when it does run it wont rev it gets to 6000 (really lumpily) and wont go further for a bit (regardless of how long i leave it to tickover warming up) then all of a sudden from holding the throttle wide open it revs like normal
wtf is this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find a lot of 2-strokes do that. I presume once it had gone past this 'blockage' it runs as you would expect? Bet there is loads of blue smoke too until it 'clears its throat'.
As for the starting. What's that sparkplug like?
Is it points ignition? (might be worth checking the timing if it is).
Could be down on compression a bit? ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

i didnt think thats really too bad now, with the cleaner petrol etc? i ran my 2 strokes round but never noticed any real buildup like bikes "back in the day" had unless the fuel in whitwick area removes 2 smoke exhaust gunk more than others ____________________ add me to your msn messenger contacts : [email protected]
