The Bemsee meeting at Croix is the weekend of the 27-28th of may. I have the week off work before so thought about taking the long route to croix. Anyone fancy a bimble through france for a few days?

I am considering this, maybe even going back theough france and over to plymouth.

still not really thought about it though. Will also need to hump camera gear!

Yea, may even be a van with a bit of ceiling space free for lugging stuff as well. Of course stuff would end up at Croix, rather than with you on your travels, though.

Been looking at prices, tuesday/wednesday out, monday back. Around the £60 mark on the ferry. I tried the train but even with shitty times it was £80+.

You'd do well to check Speed Ferries aswell, hear they have a £19 each way thing for bikes. Although they are known as a bit unreliable.

Btw, ferry savers also had a Newhaven to Dieppe return crossing for £48, may be better if you fancy a mini-tour.
