Just finished watching it...

Being the sad sort i've played all the games through and a (couple of the directors cuts too)

Seen some not so great reviews, the main problem "the story is too complicated" now if its too complicated for you then your a fucking moron tbh..

Its all about atmosphere with this film, exactly like the game, in a way you see a bit too much..

The storyline is a mish mash of a couple of the games, the director understood what he was doing, the actors (most of them) were good (but some were not the best it has to be said), and altogether its very watchable and as creepy as finding a dead badger in your newly blood splashed fridge then having it decide to eat your chin while singing abba hits, it is unnerving and unsettling, but thats the entire point..

Don't go expecting a normal horror film, theres no machine guns or fire-breathing baddies + if the matrix plot confused you dont bother, its no resident evil either (in a good way)


Its a sinister marmite of films, if you liked the games its worth watching just for the visuals, can't offer the prespective of somebody who hasn't..

(I liked it, but it wont be for everyone )

The director is french isn't he? sort of spoils it in a way, not quite sure why but it seemed a bit wrong when I watched him talking about the film on some tv program the other day.

Good film, it took me a wee while to actually get what the hell was happening! But not trying to spoil the plot, whats with the ending, anyone care to explain it to me?

Its not that you get to see any but all the actresses have fine pairs and tight tops and the camera does seem to dwell on the sweater puppies a hell of a lot.
