You want to get Pantone Marker's for colouring and some fineliner's for line work.

I use pen's like these occasionally, widely used by graphic designer's, concept artists and comic artists etc. https://www.letraset.com/shopdisplayproducts.asp?id=2393&cat=TRIA+12+Set+%2D+Brights&ssctn=graphics

They do work out to just under a fiver a pen though!

You can normally find some cheap set's on ebay, go to .com, not .co.uk.

I use the same pens as Reuben, or some fine paintbrushes and normal black ink if i have a lot of time to spare on a picture.

I always try to use brush and ink though when i'm colouring and shading, as they're so bold and vibrant they give the finished picture extra depth Thumbs Up

side note???maybe...

I tend to draw stuff in pencil, scan that in and ink in photoshop with a tablet...works quite well and is easier to rub out if (when) I go wrong...

Hello,

I got a few of those pantone pens & they are great, if you colour something in it just looks it's been printed out. Also has 3 nibs for skinny, fat & normal pen work. Bad part about them is they run out fast probably after a couple of drawings! I also started to use magic markers which are the same quality but cost less.
