well it finally happened. i got pulled.

me and dragonflys boyfriend were messing round in an industrial estate in newry, and he got caught riding like a twat by the peelers, who then followed us and pulled us both in.

now im pretty legal, but he wasnt, so hes prob getting done for no licence, insurance, tax, mot. his disqualification has expired so at least hes not gettin done for driving while disqualified.

i got asked for my documents, but didnt have them on me so i got a producer.

just back from police station and got a caution for not displaying R-plates! lol how gay is that.

balls.

Not being a git but I'm glad he got caught. He's obviously done something to deserve a ban before and goes and does this. Uninsured drivers are total tossers.

When you pass your driving test in N.I. you are required to drive with 'R' plates showing for a year and are not allowed to exceed 45 mph. The idea obviously being to force new drivers to drive slowly and hopefully have less accidents.

Guess they apply to bikes as well.

to be fair, he had just bought the bike, and was doing it up to sell. we were just out to test her. seems to keep blowing main fuses, hardly even touched the main road. just a bit unlucky lol

i thaught industrial estates were private property anyhow....

The plots owned by seperate companies in the estates are private, the estate itself however wouldnt be, i dont think.

To be fair?

What's fair about driving around completely illegally while we all pay through the nose for the pleasure.

Try having your bike written off by an uninsured driver and see if you feel the same way.

Sadly not. It feels even worse when you are on a motorway and have to try and stick to that speed (which is what persuaded me to just ignore the restriction).

Shame it's changed. Back in the old days I could have come up with a joke about you getting caught by the nips.

psni just doesn't have the same ring to it.
