Here's an interesting one!!

I received last week a letter from Domain Registry of America details of a web address - inviting a 'Mr Dustin Powers' to renew two web addresses. Having checked the addresses, neither have a website and a whois search showed me that he had used his name based at my home address for these URLs. I rang Domain Registry of America who told me to contact yesnic.com who registered the addresses - I sent them an email and had no response and a subsequent search on the web suggests to me that they are a decidely dodgy company based in Korea!! I have rung the Police who say it's a common thing and if you have not been materially harmed then there's no crime. I imagine Mr. Powers is using the addresses for spam.

I want the addresses not to be assigned to my home address - how do I do that? Thumbs Up

if it is for personal use you can have your details omitted from whois queries
go back to the company that you registered it with and ask them to remove your details, also if their is a control panel for your domin names you should be able to do it their

You can't for .net or .com domains.

What you can do though, is have the domain company put their details there instead of yours.

That depends who you buy the domain from though, not all companies are willing to do that IME.
