Viewing a Gixxer 6, 98 srad, any tips?

Heya all,

Well tomorrow night i'm off to take a look at a Gixxer 6 i'm looking at buying. Any tips on waht I should look for, first time i've done this on my own Razz

not an expert as you know but for starters, chain, sprocket and tyres can add up so bare that in mind.

Obvious crash damage - leaky forks - shocks - smoke on startup - engine sound , rattles etc... - check ALL the electrics work - road legal can ....

ask if there is anything wrong with it, and then ask for a test ride.

the one i tried had a speedo needle that was wobbling 10mph either side of the actual speed, and loose mirrors

some stuff is easy to fix, but if you dont like the way the bike rides, dont buy it.
