Hmm sorry about that, those two points were meant to be seperate Anders and Sickpup. I'll now await your apology,Sickpup. for saying its irrelevant to consider someone's health after they had an accident. I hope it's not you who rides past when I have a crash. Although you can do it via pm, I don't need it to be public 
As far as not chasing anyone anders, you claim to want to understand, I think we've heard all we are goiing to now. also why are you so interested are you a personal friend of either? I me let it lie with the blaming. Also we have done our fair share to instigate the argument, haven't we
The extent of Edd's chasing would have been a pm.
But Mr James is right. 
I don't understand the deal with getting new tyres and a night out.. are we talking about months after the event and when (it seems) dodosi was not being contacted about the money. Put my life on hold waiting for some directions or contact? nice. I'm sure you would have not gone out or spent a penny until you had your consience clear, right.
Yes for some people £150 is a lot , for others it is a measly amout. Me, I have had a £261 check in my wallet for the past 2 weeks. I'm not loaded but don't need it now. My point is if someone happened to owe me £150 right now, I wouldn't need to chase them up. If I didn't bother for a few months it's possible that the other person may think I couldn't care less about the money.
Dodsi has explained that he didn't know where house was , stop going on about it. We don't know whether dodsi knew or not.

you are having a laugh. No Edd's not being silly apart from by blowing it public. But I see you continuously having a go.
In fact I came on here after a bunch of bcf members made assumptions about a guy they don't know based on an innapropriate and uncalld-for rant. So yes I came on here to say what I thought about the situation from the perspective of someone who calls himself a friend of the accused. Ther was simply too much speculative bullshit so I may have not been totally pc. shout me down for standing up for a friend when he's getting slack from a bunch of online forum members.
If Edd would be so kind as to change the title now to SORTED problem or the like, that'd be nice as anders is also asking whether you've received it and we can all be friends again (doubt it...as certain people better not come and meet me at squires without a reason and/or mates to hold me back with)

EDIT2: just read your latest reply edd, Thanks for feeling the need to be abusive to EX3D. and you'r rather silyl comment on riding safely. Accidents happen. we all know that cars pull out on us. He had a witness. I'm sure you'll never had a lowside or any other accident as you are too safe and considerate. I had an accident. I got hit by a big red van I was not moving. My point, accidents happen and it is not neccesarily the bikes or anyone's fualt sometimes.

Just to clarify, I'm not trying to defend his actions as I don't know exactly what's gone off in terms of communication or lack there of between Dodsi & Edd. My only point is that is is unfair to judge someone you have never met based purely on hearsay.
Sit down with Dodsi, have a chat, at worst msn him, then and only then voice your opinion as to whether you think he is a prick or not. I'm sure that Dodsi and Edd have at some stage been at cross purposes, and I'm sure that Dodsi wasn't just hoping he would forget as some have suggested.
The matter is resolved, Edd's been paid, save the Dodsi flaming untill you know the facts.
If the situation turns out to be exactly as anders/sickpup/others would have you believe then maybee Dodsi has done a wrong un. But I for one am sure there is more to this than meets the eye.

As for some of the other points raised by anders, sickpup & bonny_ricardo:
I agree, you crash it, you pay for it, and you get the money to the other party as soon as.
I also agree that the amount has no bearing on the issue, be it £150 or £1.50 the principle is the same.
and yes, £150 is in no way measly to me, not when I've got £37.50 to live on untill 1st June, which has got to pay £150 board, £100 diesel and £100 petrol amongst other things. (oh well I suppose being skint is one of the joys of owning a 1 litre sports bike at 20 ) |
