dealers query

How do you find a parts dealer in your area? I don't think i'm using the right search words on yell as I can't seem to find any dealers atall.

I'm trying to find a honda or yamaha parts dealer ideally in newport, gwent (np109ae) or the nearest one to newport.

I'm trying to get hold of an oil seal in this size - 18X28X6 before friday so that I can ride up to the R&S show up cambridge without damaging the bike any oil seal will do from any bike or model.

If I can replace that it won't be mixing with the water so I can ride up to the show and fix it propperly with a new mech seal/gaskets etc when we get back. I want it to leak externally so that it's not doing any damage to the engine that way I can just top it up with water/oil along the way if it needs it.

Dunno what's worst, having the oil seal go 2/3 days before your planning to ride 180 miles each way or borrowing your brothers purple tigra to go get the oil seal when I finally find a dealers local that can supply it.

Just do a search for a normal bike dealership. Every franchised dealership has parts supply facilities, and most are a multi-franchise, so they can get bits for most of the big Jap makes.

There must be an authorised dealer in a town near you.
