Don't trust the rule on £35 breakdown on past experience.

Some recovery company with no mechanical knowledge at all, that won't attempt to fix, just to tow. Then you find out that your cheap policy will only cover you to nearest garage. The fact that its 1am on a bank holiday makes no difference. Never again, I thank my father for his cheap breakdown advice.

be a decent mechanic and make sure your bike is in good nick at all times venturing away from big cities , prevention rather than cure?
