Hi there.

As some of you may know, weve been having some atrocious weather at the moment here in the south west. storms and all that..... Very pretty but not good for riding.

Anyway, getting to the point...

Ive got my test booked for this monday coming (15th). Ive looked at the weather forecast and it looks like its gonna bucket it down just to get on my fragile nerves.

Just wondering what sort of conditions you are expected to suffer in before they postpone the test???

Cheers. Smile wish me luck!

P.S. 600 Hornet a decent first bike (Restricted of course)?

It pissed down when I done mine, but luckily it wasnt windy so I didnt get blown everywhere. I'd say the weather would have to be pretty bad before they prospone it and the instructor WILL take into mind that the conditions are harder to drive in and may be a bit more lenient with deducting marks

Did my test in March, it actually snowed lightly during my test...made me very nervous when cornering.

Had to wait an hour the previous (training) day before we went put because of all the slush on roads...slipped on my drive-way getting into car....lol

I would be more worried about the wind rather than the rain, as Jamie says the instructor will be aware of the conditions....good luck

probably just ice / heavy heavy snow before they can the test you know like in Early december when cornwall was completely cut off after the A38 was completely blocked.

but then again I did my test in middle of winter though it was just pissing it down rather than any wintery stuff.

I had a test cancelled cos it was too windy but I get the impression that they don't normally cancel them for rain. I certainly know that my hubby did one of his tests when it was absolutely bucketing down.

You can't rely on weather forecasts anyway, by the time it gets to Sunday night they may be saying something completely different.

Hope it goes well for you! Thumbs Up
