Currently writing an essay on CCTV, just wandering if anyone knows the exact figure of speed cameras in the Uk today.

Hi

Forget these days . Heard 5000 and 8000 I think. Also heard that the UK has more CCTV cameras than the rest of the world put together.

Yes I know, bu its still a form of Government Control and it doesn't cut down road deaths the same way CCTVdoesn't really cut down crime.

In northern ireland there are only 3 fixed speed cameras (well there was last year) the rest are fat bas**rds munching doughnuts sitting at the roadside
