Is anyone noticing a severe decrease in performance? Not only in transfer rates, but also a lot of dropped connections?

This has been happening for about a week now, and it's getting rather annoying! Evil or Very Mad Thumbs Down

Not much help i know but i changed the upstrean channel on my telewest modem and now get a constant 1.098.5kb/s from my ftp server.

Go to your modem settings and try a different upstream channel m8, since they did the speed upgrades a lot of people have had to change the channel to get the full perfomance.

They must be doing maintenance or something.

I am on the 10Mb/s service. This has been confirmed by downloading from a Blueyonder FTP at 1.2MB/s (or 1280KB/s, minus a bit for transfer overheads), or from another fast server (such as Microsoft) using a download accelerator.
