how frequent should oil changes be on a dr350 ?

I have read that you need to change the oil a lot more frequently than on normal roadbike.

But how frequent ?

After reading that kickstart uses car oil on his fzr600 with no problems, Id be tempted to use car oil as it would be lower speed use than a 600 IL4.

best to use a mineral oil as some car oils make the clutch slip

depends how you ride the bike, i do it by the colour of the oil or about 2000miles which eva is first

you should change the oil at least once a year

or as the mileage denotes


I change oil every 1-3000 miles on my road bikes,
less on dirt ones as I dont use them as much.
