Out at the weekend and spotted new cameras on the A1079.

First lot is on the by-pass around Market Weighton.
Going from the A614 junction and even on the dual carriageway hill to/from Hull.

Some other bases are being put in on the A1079 Beverley by-pass section. These are at each end of the dual carriageway that is either side of the A164 junction.

However, the bit of good news for bikes is that from what I saw it looks like all these cameras are front facing.

I'm assuming these are in place because of the guidelines putting them at accident blackspots.
I did find this article (click me) and this article as well but wondered if anyone had and information first hand.

Do also watch out for the camera van occasionally parked near Bishop Burton college as well.

what do camera vans look like as i have never seen one.
are they unmarked white ?
are they normal height, or hi top roof?
