Who do you reckon now has the fastest bike on bcf?

I know it was Mr lucky, but i dont think he visits us anymore.

So who do you think? I dont mean drag wise, I mean generally who's bike "should" be the fastest?

I would think mr c? although if I get my bike dyno'd again, and the same figures come up, would I keep up??

What do you mean by "fastest" ?

Mine has had more done to it than Lucky's - shit his doesn't even ever get an oil change Rolling Eyes, his pulled a 193/194 at Woodbridge last year and he hasn't changed anything since.

I reckon mine will be running high 190s this year and with a bit of a tail wind who knows, maybe even the double ton - that's fast. Wink

All these speeds are timing lights confirimed with on-board GPS by the way, speedos mean nowt at those speeds - I've already had mine off the clock with mirrors and everything on Rolling Eyes

With me on board and standard gearing I reckon around 10 sec quarters should be possible. Maybe 10.5 on flyer gearing. I ran a 10.59 stock on a dampo track last year, terminal about 139 I think.

With a more skilled launcher like Lucky, hell even 9.5 and 145/150 should be doable. - that's quick Wink

On the twisty tracks all that power don't mean a shit if you don't have the skill to lay it down, I'm pretty quick but I wouldn't win any races if you know what I mean.

mid to high 140s round Cadwell on a zx9 but that means nothing in this context.

In answer to the question, I think I may be in with a shout Wink

Probably Mr C.

As for keeping up, a lot of the time it's down to the rider not only the machine. If you're talking road riding it also comes down to who is willing to take the most or biggest risks.

I've been out for a blast on several occasions and thought I was giving someone a good old run for their money. Only to then realize I wasn't and they were just out doing their thing without being too dangerous. Then other times had a good old tear up with a thumbs up at the end.

I've also had my ass kicked a good few times by riders on smaller bikes, mainly because they were just better riders than me or I wasn't riding as well that day.

If you meet a Rossi on a 250 round the twisties, I'd still fancy his chances. Not saying that you're not a Rossi yourself though! Wink

I'll go with Mr C but we all know he's old and smells of wee so there's no need to be jealous of him. Razz

Oh and my dad's bigger than yours. Razz

It probably goes something like this...

1) Mr C
2) Mr Lucky
3) You
4) Kornel/ Me (when I get my new bike)/ Dainesefreak
5 Ste

Either way it don't really matter who has the fastest bike, it's all down to who can ride the fastest and I’m sure every one else with probably agree with me but that's Kev/Korn/G/Alex/Kris.

I’m getting too sensible. Sad Thumbs Down

on a straight track - me, there would be no contest, there is no substitute for POWER Twisted Evil Twisted Evil

on the other hand, in a race round a twisty circuit it could be anyone - at BSB Cadwell, there is only about 5 seconds a lap between the superbikes and the 125s - it's almost all down to rider

not worth trying on the road unless it's only a quick blat and you can be sure as sure that it's safe - no traffic, no juctions, no trees etc. - just too much risk involved

Rossi was 250cc world champ

he would nail each and every one of us on anything every single time with NO exceptions, no doubt at all

in fact, the same definitley holds true of a 125 as well, as long as it was a circuit and not an open road with long straights
