Thats a nasty cough you have there, might have to book you into the doctors. First appointment we can manage is the 8th of September. That do you?

All the best

If anyone else wants to go they still have places in each group, but are over three quarters booked, so give them a ring asap if you want to go.

Well I'm gonna come along and watch and take some photo's, I was considering riding but I don't fancy riding the circuit with a shagged rear shock and with me being VERY indecisive I may not even have a new bike then Confused.

Did my usual "1st time at the track book novice thing"

Think I should stop doing that really as I didnt get overtaken once at snetterton ? but having the r1 on the straights probably helped.

You doing fast or Inter ?

To be honest I reckon you'd be fine in inters, I don't think you'd struggle at all, especially on an R1. Silverstone is a very high speed circuit so the R1 will be in it's element.

I asked the lady whether she thought I'd be ok in inters, having not ridden there before, she asked how many track days I'd done, to which I replied eight. She said at Silverstone they tend to get a lot of first time track dayers who really aren't very fast riding in novice, so she said she thought it was best I went in inters. At somewhere like Cadwell you tend to get more experienced riders, but a lot who book Silverstone, Donnington and Brands tend to do so just for the glory of having ridden a famous track.

I could well be tempted as I'm already off that day. If I get the new bike run-in and serviced in time and there are still spaces available, then there's a good chance I'll be there.

I've not been on the track for a few years and I'm going to be on my brand new bike, so will want to go steady. Think I still best go in the fast group though. What do you think?

Mr Pants!, are you just going to sit there and take that, like a little girl? Are you up for it, or are you going to be a pussy?
