That fire wood is just an example (my dad's stock pile). Any firewood we will have to grab from the woods ourselves. There has been a lot of trees knocked down in the wind so we wont have trouble gathering it. The old man may kick off if we start nicking his stock piles. Laughing

Few queries... but first.

https://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m57z8k5U2h1qftp9uo1_1280.jpg

Toilets are usually the issue, but if shitting in the woods is acceptable, game on. Covdude will likely attend.

Where can we park the bikes, are they at the actual house and if so 10pm rides and general hooliganism... will they be mad? Laughing

The BBQ... how close is it to the fields?

There doesn't appear to be enough space for Skudds tent, do you have any more land at all?

BBQ is by the house. Could just buy a load of disposables if need be. Bikes can be parked on the field if you wanted - but yes the main area would be by the house for parking. You're free to take the bikes anywhere.

My only fears are:
A) my wife is pregnant and due in August so don't want the little-un to come early.
B) the weather. Wales isn't known for sunny days.

Do you work in marketing? Entice us all in with pics of your throbbing wood and then, in size 3 small print "just a representation of what firewood looks like, not actual wood available, terms and conditions apply".

If someone brings a chainsaw then we can manage firewood no problem.

How close is the nearest supermarche? We need grog and hog meat for our merrymaking so usually entails a car journey or two to the local Asda to stockpile supplies.

10pm ride outs ha ha, why would 10pm be an issue. 2-3am ride outs may be a slight issue but no not 10pm.

Toilets: I'll come up with something. May even look into port a loo hire.

Ha ha, sorry Ghostie, yeah I thought I'd get that response. May even start stockpiling my own in prep so you guys have less work to do. Got a healthy pile for us already. Will have a chainsaw here anyway so don't event worry about wood.

Nearest average supermarket 'CK's' is around 2miles away. Big tesco is 4miles away.

Neat, she can do the washing up.

Never mind me, I'll imply I'm coming, then find some flimsy excuse like "Bawww, there was a hurricane".

We are located just walking distance from the open mountains. It looks like this:

https://www.blackmountainsite.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/Penyfan/ofpenyfan1.jpg

For 100 miles between our farm and Abergavenny. A KTM would be pretty epic!!

I really need to get myself a crosser

Bike. It has to be. Karma

Although I do remember G mentioning a BCF meet where everyone turned up in cars. To be honest...If I had a a van with a trials bike in the back I'd take that.

Anyone here own a Gennie? Would be good to have some music etc. Suppose we could use car stereos to play tunes though.
