Bought a new tv -my first in 18 years- and I don't like it. It looks like theres a fine filter over the picture. I thought things would have moved on since mine was made, but apparently not Laughing

Now I learn that it may cost me to send it back cos 'no fault'!
How am I supposed to know I like it if I can't play with it!?
I did play with it, for 3 days, and still couldn't get a clean picture....looked a lil blurry too imo.

Try going through the picture settings.
Usually the default settings are designed for an initial "wow" factor and very soon become hard to watch - usually over bright and saturated colours.

Based on what Marjay said maybe I really needed a 1080 tv? Almost everything I watch is standard tv. I did mess around with settings etc....they were neverending. I was forced to adjust my old sets picture for the 1st time in over a decade having had them side by side Laughing

Renting then...

Still having to get credit for a glorified portable communicator, seems illogical.

Bought a jolt pack thingy for my Dreamcast so now I have basic vibration and some decent CDs so I can burn some more "backups", honest guv. This weekend was mostly Shenmue, House of the Dead 2 and Crazy Taxi. And getting very pissed off with my seized to shit bike and storming off and cleaning cars.

Just took receipt of the FMCB memory card and HDD adapter for the PS2 to be able to play some "backups" directly from a HDD in the PS2 ...

Such nerd, very not bothered Smile

Had to think about that one for a second... I guess the DC didn't have vibration Smile I should dig mine out and see if it still works, but is has a dodgy lid so I have to leave it open with something on top, otherwise it randomly quits thinking the lid has been opened.

Along with the original Xbox it's still probably my fav' console. You didn't have to install games, never had to be updated Wub

To satistfy a luddite.
Why does it connect by bluetooth to your phone? I fail to see the point? I used to wear a watch until the early 90s when
I first got a mobile phone at which point l sacked wearing a watch because every phone ever has a clock. Not worn one since.
Nice watch though.

It uses time sync to your phone, useful when changing time zones a lot as the watch doesn’t have to be manually set. My Casio does the same but uses radio waves or something.

I think you can find your phone or something too.

A laser level.
It won't match the rest of my gear (Makita) but it consistently scores highly in reviews.

Cool UM100, I also have one. Not bad for a cheap plastic distortion pedal. Very versatile distortion, a lot of EQ settings.

Well, these days you may just go full digital with a cheap multi-fx/DSP box and simulate whatever distortion/OD pedal/amp you want and not many would notice the difference. But, when I got the UM100, nothing like it was avalible. To stay on topic, with the GCB95 the UM100 worked very well. Also, I've always wanted to buy a Big Muff, because my childhood guitar hero, Paul Gilbert, had one, but I never got it.

I could buy one today, but I kind of lost the interest. I already sold some pedals. I still have the UM100, DD6 and GCB95, but I mostly use the Boss micro BR, for a quick play.
