Some interesting mods there. What power are these bikes producing? They look only to be mildly tuned

As it is expensive to get those kits here (Parma/Athena), most of these bikes are bored so as they can accommodate larger piston (DT 125). Some of them (like mine) uses bigger carbs (Delorto 28, Kehnin 28/32/34), some porting works also. No dyno run though because there's no such infrastructures here sadly.

Well I haven't updated this in a while!

Been busy messing around with the tuned 20bhp H100S2. Some of you will know I had problems, but so far its just about running spot on!

Anyway next job, seat pan restoration!

(sigh........!)

Gone for shot blasting let see whats left of it! Then oxy-acetylene in some bits of new scrap!

For starting a project like this I'd have chosen the rxs over the h100 anyday! The rxs shares a fair few ideas with the rd/dt 125lc ie intake port/ reed valve and transfer ports etc.

Blasting results look good enough for me to give it a try! Any tips apart from using a cabinet!?

Wear goggles and do it outside. Face mask for those dust but not harmful but not good to breathe in either!

Also reuse the soda and water by doing it in a large storage box or similar and have your suction pipe continuously feed off the bottom of the box

I am new to this site so first and foremost hello all Very Happy

I have been following this post for a while as I am also currently undergoing my own Honda H100 project. I am going more along the café racer style route but am always up for a little bit of fettling to get a bit more poke out of the little fella Smile

The bike is a 1987 D reg H100 S2 and the only performance mods I was planning was a 16t front sprocket, Performance reed valve, race air filter and removed baffle as the reduced weight on the bike should give me a bit of increased top end speed anyway.

But then I saw the Athena 125cc kit on this post!!!

So CB1, what does this kit do to top end and acceleration and is it worth it for the increased costs & fettling needed? I would be made up if I could get the bike to get to 75 - 80 mph.

I may even park the CBR600RR up a little more........

Excellent tips fellas, this may be the route to go for me first of. I will definitely try widening the exhaust port and the upping the main to 130.

I originally went for a 16t front sprocket as I didn't want to lose too much acceleration. I ride a CBR600RR normally so know this thing is going to be pretty slow in comparison to that, I just don't want it to be painfully slow in order to get the top speed up.

I'll be honest though, never even ridden a h100 so don't know what it would be like stock. The one I got was in a really bad state when I got it, having been left in a shed for 15 years.
