I bought this as a toy after selling my gsxr but it just doesn't get much use and the money would be much more than a bike I've taken out 4 times in the last 6 weeks, so it is with regret that I've decided to sell it.

It's really an off road bike with lights fitted.

4 stroke 250cc on a 'F' plate.
Manufactured 1989
Registered jan 1993

Mot to next June 2014, Tax to end of may 2014

When i first got it, it ran like a dog so the carb was stripped and all the nasty green stuff was cleaned out and it now starts usually first kick which is simple thanks to an automatic decompresser, so no leg breaking kick starting.

It now runs starts and runs fine, it had an oil change when i got it and I've just changed the oil again now after taking it out for a ride to take some photos so twice in 300 miles.
I've also put on an almost completely unbreakable number plate to avoid it getting snapped off when you go through hedges and the like.
Local bike shop put a new rear tube in it not long ago.
Both tyres have plenty of tread and are pretty good for use on and off road but I wouldn't fancy my chances with them if the going got really boggy.

It has obviously been used off road, I've done probably 150 miles off road on it in recent months and it shows the signs.

It rides straight and you can remove hands from the bars even at speed and there is no wobble or heading off in either direction.

There are a couple of things worth a mention.
The front brake feels to have a slightly warped disc, you can feel it through the brake lever, it is fine to use but for the sake of perfection a disc would be the way to go.
The back lights have been put on by an idiot, they work of sorts but could do with looking at, I rarely if ever used it at night so never bothered.

It has plenty of wear and tear but none of it matters unless you are the sort that buys a bike to look at, personally i like to ride them and this one was bought to use off road and it's fine for that.

The v5/logbook is here and in my name. 2 keys for it.

Phone holder on handlebars not included.

Delivery can be arranged, properly insured bike mover will deliver it to most parts of mainland uk for £100 + vat (£120) or collect from near Salisbury.

All for a very reasonable price of £850
