Could roll your bike into a paddling pool and then fill it up with a couple of inches of water.

There's a ford nearby so may take a trip down and try and get a photo in the morning if no-ones got it.

Was hoping there would be some still water at the sides, not a huge raging torrent. It's a little difficult to tell from an OS map

Drove to the ford at Etal castle, but unfortunately the water was flowing very fast, and I was far to chicken to attempt crossing it for a photo.
