Also, not every member lives in the UK, which makes the challenge racist. Folded arms

Is it better to have ten people say "That looks like fun, I can get that one!" grab for their keys and bang through two or three a day, or to have days and weeks go by with most folk either not able or bothering to participate?

Up to you, the game is what we make of it.

This one will probably be done fairly soon, mind. Wink

The few that are about will be inside garages while the roads are covered in salt, waiting for the summer. I don't think many people will be using a 30 year old car as a day to day driver

It's not up to me. This is just my view on it from last couple of years.

The challenge has always been to be the first to do it, not work out where something rarer than rocking horse poo might possibly be if it hasn't moved since you last saw some 3 years ago.

But surely, Roger,
had Northern Monkey followed through it would have been outstanding!

Could roll your bike into a paddling pool and then fill it up with a couple of inches of water. Thumbs Up

There's a ford nearby so may take a trip down and try and get a photo in the morning if no-ones got it.

Was hoping there would be some still water at the sides, not a huge raging torrent. It's a little difficult to tell from an OS map

Drove to the ford at Etal castle, but unfortunately the water was flowing very fast, and I was far to chicken to attempt crossing it for a photo.
