Anyone in the Midlands wanna meet up?

You've probably read that I finally got me a real bike. :D Well, I have no biker friends (well there is one, but he has a kid so he dont go out anymore) so I wondered if some of us could meet up?

My bike is only 11hp, so I dont think a rideout would be a good idea :?

I know about the meet at the Wheel on Wednesdays, but at the mo I dont know how to get there. I finish work early tomorrow so I'll go look for that.

Will any of you be there on Wednesday?

Yeah the wheel is probably the best bet and the closest to you. I havent been yet this yr, as i have been going to the Waterman near Warwick on most wednesdays when im free. I keep meaning to go up to Bassets Pole one week just to check it out, but it aint much of a ride there all through Brum! I got some work mates that i sometimes meet at the Wheel on Wed nights, and hopfully ill get down there soon. Its one of the best places to go, as long as you can find somewhere to park, always difficult! Keith and Annabella are quite close to the Wheel, so they might also make it down there one week. BTW what bike is it that youve got yourself?

Hi there, im going to the bradford arms on monday, thats near you. Cant remember which road its on tho, annabella or keith will tell you.

Hi

The Bradford arms is on the A5, about 5ish miles from the A449. It is right next to a petrol station, which is more obvious.

The Stormy Pectral on the A41 at Tern Hill is also worth a look on a Thursday night.

If you're coming from Telford, get on the A5 to Cannock. Go straight over all the wonderful large islands, the last one you go over is the one on the A41 (Western Park island). After that islad you go down a nice long straight bit, into a 40 limit past Western Park, it seems all dark and sheltered down this bit, when the road opens up keep your eyes open to the left. there is a large pub up a steep bank, in front is a petrol station and it's on a junction left to Wheaton Aston, right to Bishopswood (yey! My home!), take the left, then left again and hey presto you are on the car psrk of the Bradford Arms - be warned the big signs on the side of the pub say The Harvest Moon!

Can you tell I ride this route every day? See you There!!! Oh btw if you want to go to the Wheel and couldn;t find it (down the rabbit run right at the dodgy island with pub on fork) then you could meet me at the Bradford and then follow me down.

I'll be at the Bradford from about 8 ish. I have my violin lesson first you see.... Look out for me I'll be on my black and purple NSR, you won't miss me I'll be right ahead of a cloud of smoke! You'd better be there!

YOU WUSS!!! It didn't rain down here very much! AND you missed the drama of my ex wheelspinning is car off the car park and getting in a massive mood! Though to be honest there was a grand total of 6 bikes there....Including Keith - WEY HEY!!!

I live in Aqueduct, I know most places like the town centre and railway station, but I only started using the EP recently and I dont know it very well yet, sorry if this seems really stupid!

Well - unbelieveably (eh? can't spell!) the railway station is on the A5!! If you get there and head straight down the road signposted A5 to Cannock. Island thet railway station is on, - straight over from town.

Go down a bit, come to island with big concrete thingy in middle, go straight over.

Next island is A41 island. Western Park by here... I could meet you in the lay by (ooohh dodgy dealings) just before this island (its on the RH side though). No probs.

Make sense? My direction giving is very poor I know!

No the one with blockbusters on isn't the A5.

If you're coming off Blockbusters car park, turn left then at the island follow signs for the A5. I could actually meet you in Telford if you want?Don't mid riding the extra distance.

Do you know the clocktower island at Donnington?Or Donnington Asda?
