The few female bikers ive run into are if anything more lethal as they feel they have something to prove, that said they dont appear to crash as much Rolling Eyes

Cheers V!! after seeing those pics I was determined that I could do it too (couldnt be beaten by you again) and I went out and found a nice roundie to have a go on. Knee goes down no problem now. Pics coming soon (I want it to be dark so you can see the sparks).

Exactly what I used to say ginger! until I did it and decided it was loads of fun, and the sparks look cool.

Aparently the pro riders use it to gauge how much they can lean the bike before they run off the edge of their tyres. I just do it coz it feels/looks/sounds cool. Cool

Getting your knee down per sae doesn't do anything... it does as stew said help you to know how much lean you've got left.... also hanging off the bike (not allways with KD) lets you corner faster by changing the centre of gravity and letting the bike be more upright.
