is it illegal to have black visors???
some absolute arse bandit pulled me over this morning and wanted to know what % of light is let through or summmet?? he gave me a pink slip and told me he wanted to see my visor without the black strip on it.

WAT IS THE POINT?? DO THE POLICE NOT HAVE ANYTHING BETTER TO DO??? ARSE HOLES!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's illegal to have a visor that blocks out more than 50% of transmitted light...this includes tinted visors and iridium ones.

Depends on the insert. If it blocks more than %50 then it's illegal. Reasoning: If you're tonning it on the m'way and it gets dark, like a huuge cloud, you can't see and you can't safely ride with your visor open. You would have to pull over to remove the insert, by which time you could've had an accident anyways.
