I have been looking at 125 bikes; as I will be 17 soon.
I’ve come across “Superbyke;” an official and good importer, who have bought rights from Suzuki, which allows them to build their frames and engines into their own bikes. I was just wondering if anyone who owns or knows anything about the "Superbyke Rmr 125” could help me, by letting me know of any problems or previous set backs.

Many Thanks,

Reegz

Something like that Thumbs Up Very Happy

Sorry Reegz, can't help you mate. I have never heard of Superbyke.

If it's Chinese and you don't mind bolts made of blancmange, brake pads made of cardboard, wiring routed around the exhaust pipe, electrics which last a week, no spares availability and a nil resale value, go ahead.
Otherwise buy a secondhand jap.

If it is a copy of the RM 125 then it will be very unsuitable for road use.
These are highly strung competition bikes and there's no way I would trust a Chinese copy of one.

They about £1000 OTR? Why not just spend £500/600 on a CG125 that is guarunteed to last you a long time, aslong as you do the normal and keep oil in it etc.

Save yourself about £500 and probably save yourself a thousand when the superbyke falls apart.

The RMR 125 is the best Chinese bike on the Market but it is not with it's problems.

The Rear sprocket has problems it can become detached from the wheel, more likely on the drum brake version as the set up of the rear wheel has no cush drive and the bolts end up snapping this is the same for the llexeter pulse and the sinnis apache. The sinnis and rmr come from the same factory the pulse usses the same parts apart from the plastics but is assembled in Pioneer factory not Qingqi.

The disc version usses a cush drive system but the rubbers perish, change them for honda Xl rubbers for peace of mind.

Most Rmr's have problems with their rear LED lights down to poor quality circuit boards.

The tyres on these bikes are very bad made from nylon in the wet they're lethal.

Rear brakes are poor with little responce then a skid.

But be assured this is a Qingqi bike it is the best Chinese bike around because all the rest are CRAP and yes take the advice on BUY A secound HAND JAP, you can't go wrong with a DT125 more fun than a heavy slow 4 stroke hell you can even wheelie!!

I have a Honda rip off bike from new a few years ago, it was slow, cheap plastics poorly made and rattled itself to bits - almost killed myself when i took the bike back to the garage (about 20 miles away) with no back break!

the only thing it was good for was the amusement of watching it rust in 30 seconds flat.

The superbyke rmr are all right they might b a copy but un like other chinease motorbike this 1 is well build i have had mine for over a year now and i have not had 1 problem with it i got it brand new in april last year i payed £1300 for it + 65 for registering otr and tax. When i pass my test im might even get another one the build quality is good, so dont just assume it is rubish just cos it is a replica.

a bike that costs 1300 new is blatantly gonna be of crap quality.

I got the pulse adrenaline 125 last year, and provided you don't mind checking it over periodically, it's not the big of a problem. I don't know if it would qualify as a supermoto, much less of a super anything: it's an OK hackabout, which looks a bit supermoto-ish.
I like mine, but that's largely due to the minimal fuel consumption compared to my Bandit, and the fact that it handles fairly well, and is a bit of a laugh. While it lacks hoon factor, it's not a bad ride.
Just my tuppence worth.

For the record, the engine's a licensed Suzuki copy, and the frame is designed by the Chinese host company, Qingqi. If you can get one that's not suffering corrosion when you see it, you're likely to be all right. Mine's in good nick, and I just make sure that no significant rust spots appear by keeping any exposed parts clean and sprayed with WD40.
Don't get me wrong: it is my 'disposable' bike, for lack of a better word. I'm not expecting it to outlive anything much, but for commuting and hacking about town on the cheap, it's fun enough.

I have a RMR 125 and to be honest i hated with a passion any chinese knock off but i genuinely have had no troubles what so ever, the people who say it will set on fire is because they dont know how to look after there bike if you pay it enough attention its runs smooth, get a 56T rear sprocket and a 250 carb it wheely's and sounds great, only problem is there too expensive luckily i found mine for £600 2008 model with short milage so i got lucky, i repainted and changed alot of things basically just bought a frame and engine and changed it into a wheelying frankenstein does the job and sounds great so Middle Finger the haters, this bike doesnt have to be what people say
