Apparently this fool believes he had no time to stop before hitting this Iceland van.

Dashcam syndrome on YouTube is getting ridiculous now. Idiots like this deliberately allowing collisions to happen just so they think they'll have a worthwhile video to upload. He shouldn't be in charge of a pushbike if he can't stop from 5mph in about five meters... Rolling Eyes

Claims he hit the van with his shoulder but at 0.44 you can pause the video and see his hand coming up to hit the van... Rolling Eyes

roads look reasonably dry, certainly enough for him to have braked in time not to mention surely you would logically think the van driver could potentially turn into that road?

I dont see why all these cyclists feel the need to record everything and post it on youtube as if everyone cares what happens to them on their commute.
Driver seemed pretty calm and sincere about apologizing. Biker was just an asshole looking for something to film.

Road looked bone dry as well, video just proved himself an idiot, and a lucky one at that.


Van driver should have indicated before pulling out, and ESPECIALLY since they were turning left, but not solely responsible for the very preventable impact.

He's only done that because it's a company van and he knows he could get away with it.

Had it been a personal vehicle, he would have got his fucking face smashed in.

100% done on purpose, on a bone dry road.

He's nuts, there is another one where a truck overtakes him on the other side of the road giving as much room as possible and he's blasting his horn going mad.
It's a shame that the people he's reporting are likely to get in trouble with their employers though, as most large companies just want to avoid any negative press however they really feel about the actual incident.

I reckon the van is behind him and where it splits into 2 'lanes' to go for the roundabout the van wants past - cyclist straight lines the roundabout entirely which leads to the whole thing unfolding but all of his chat is about how he's done nothing wrong.
