Still can't see the attraction of the low exhaust and gay headlights but overly happy with my Triple. You will be too

Only two things stopping me from going out and getting one of these right now: lack of garage space, and the fact that it's another thing to move when I go. Definitely an icon of it's age, a must-try.

I also used to prefer the round headlamps, but I'm not so sure now. The late style have grown on me. I used to think, well, yes, they look like lamps that need a fairing around them, but I think I'd happily settle for either now.

I don't have a preference on lights, though when triumph first released the model, way back, I hated the headlights altogether. I love them now. (Both). Can't comment on the exhaust system, only ridden ones with the short ones in.

This is a bike I just did not get and never could, until I test rode a 2013 demo.

I had to get brackets for my STR in order to fit my panniers, makes it wide as a house though I like the underseats exhausts too much to swap for a low boy which would also foul the centre stand I have (chain maintenance over ground clearance yo! ).
