Has anyone tried using a tank bag to carry their dog?

https://www.intobikes.co.uk/products/002538/Bagster-Friendly-Clip-On-Tank-Bag?src=fro&gclid=CL_Jlt21xMgCFWXnwgod1fQBuQ

I'm not sure if these would work in practice.

There's a feller used to take his cat on his sunbeam. It used to just stand on the tank. As I recall, he had a flying helmet and goggles for it.

There's a guy with a Nazi tractor can often be spotted at Mudeford who carries a small dog around in a special tank bag. Dog seems to love it.

Check out "Road Hound" pet carriers. I spent a huge amount on one for porky but the wimp hated it. Ended up selling it for 1/3rd of what I paid.

We use a USB Dog Bag.
There is an optional accessory motorbike adaptor "plate" you'll need to buy that straps to the tank - it's a semi-stiff board with a neoprene underneath so that it doesn't scratch it, with two straps that go underneath the tank. I did end up making some longer straps as the supplied ones were a bit short for the Divvy. A couple of pounds worth of black webbing from ebay sorted that out.
There are four quick-release clips that hold the bag in place. The bag itself has a hole in each end (so the dog can look at me or out of the windscreen), with mesh screens that can cover them up. We've also got the waterproof cover, which works well. There is a clip inside, so with a harness on he can't climb out. It comes with removable handles, which can be extended into a shoulder bag.

The dog loves coming out on the bike, he'll spend some time looking up at me, some looking forward, then will curl up and snooze. The only problem I have is that with the bag in place, on full left lock it pushes the horn button (which obviously only happens when you are manoeuvring at slow speed into a car park space or arriving back at home and jiggling onto the drive).

Man up man and man handle it. You will need open helmet though...

Like this guy's Golden Retriever on the tank bag:
